Costume designs
and stage settings for plays, ballets, operas, music hall and other performances,
as well as some fashion designs. Many of the artists worked in Paris,
though they came from Russia, Spain, Germany, Italy, Britain, and elsewhere.
Many of the artists also designed accessories, posters and graphics and
some also illustrated books or magazines, including the great international
fashion ones.
